Variable Frequency Drives (VFD Panels)
Motor speed control for pumps and fans, linked to the sensors that set the demand.
A variable frequency drive changes motor speed by changing the frequency of its supply. In a building it lets pumps and fans run to demand rather than at full speed. A pressure or air quality reading gives the controller its reference, and the drive reports its status back to the BMS.
